[pope/baker wedding]
First I want to thank Ashley so very much for the oppurtunity to photograph your big day.
I think we had a great time.
This is only a small preview of what I have and I hope enjoy.

[josey & eric - so in love]
On May 1st I got the pleasure of photographing my next door neighbors.
We had the best time at Dewberry Manor Farm in Kernersville, NC.
That place is just fabulously beautiful! I think we laughed more than ever and I got some of the best shots of my gorgeous neighbors.
I hope you enjoy the small sample of the shots I got

This photo is being used as announcements/invitations of their destination wedding and celebration party when they get home. I can't wait to see the final product.
[i heart faces]["may flowers" photo challenge]
It's been a while since I have entered a photo challenge. Life had been getting in my way of picture taking lately. Guess that happens when you have kids and a full time job! LOL

[super moon 2011]
There was a full moon on Saturday, but it wasn't just any old full moon. It was bigger and brighter. They called it the SUPER MOON!!
It appeared larger as it made its closest approach to Earth in 18 years.
It appeared 14 percent bigger and 30 percent brighter at its peak.
Full moons vary in size because of the oval shape of its orbit, with one end closer to Earth. On Saturday, it was 221,565 miles away - the closest to Earth since March 1993.
This celestial phenomenon should give people an excuse to take time out for the moon.

[i heart faces] ["phone" photo challenage]
This week over at IHEARTFACE is cell phone photo challenge week.
I don't have an iphone but a Blackberry. I have been using my phone more these days to capture fun photos of the kids and people. And as a matter of fact this picture was taken with my older phone that wasn't even as fancy as my Blackberry.
One night, about 2 years ago, we were out for dinner alone for the first time in a while we watched this guy come in with his "girlfriend" and sit down. He was with 2 other girls and his "girlfriend". They had a nice dinner. He bought her a nacho platter to eat. It was sweet to watch him help her eat since she had a slight impairment.
We still eat at this restaurant and laugh with the waiter that still works there. Even over 2 years later. I had actually left and went back inside to capture this picture.
It's not the best but it's memorable.

[i heart faces] ["red" photo challenge]
This week over at I Heart Faces is RED week. I haven't done a photo challenge in a while but this pass weekend the boys were out playing on thier newest toys, dirt bikes, and I captured a picture that I think is just too cute and funny.
Where they ride/play is behind our home back on the woods and they found this spot that comes up a hill to and open field. One of my #2's friends lives across the street from this field and sees them over there all the time. This time I was over there capturing some shots of them coming up the the hill and doing jumps so they came over to watch with us.
I got down on the ground to capture a great action shot of him coming up off the jump when I also captured his friends reaction. I think it's priceless! And the great thing is that he has a red shirt on and my son's bike is red. Prefect for this challenge.
